    A local favorite for coffee, pastries, and sandwiches since 1998. Founded by a two-time Olympian and a local entrepreneur, this is our favorite place to fuel up before a big day outdoors. Their homemade soups and salads are great, and everything can be made to-go, for eating on the slopes or on a hike.

    We love the Bridgetender on warm summer evenings when the crowd and the music spill out along the Truckee River in the warm night air.
